Big Brother 13 - Episode 27, 28, & 29 (Finale)

I know, I know, it's been almost a month since the finale of Big Brother but hey, I started work again and can't blog all the time.

I'm not going to go into the details (because honestly, I can't remember what happened), but I will update on who won.

Jordan was evicted.  Then Adam.  Then Porshe and Rachel went head to head waiting for the jury to decide who would win.  Rachel wins by a hair!

I was really happy.  As much as I didn't like Rachel, she really grew on me and was definitely the best player of the game this season as she fought hard, caused drama, and lied low at the same time.  Isn't that the point of a great winner.

Overall you know I didn't agree with this whole VETS vs. NEWBIES as I didn't think it was fair but it did make for good television.

A big thank you to all of you who participated in The Big Brother Season 13 Dish!

To my family who has watched all 13 seasons with me and who brought on lots of laughs as my brother  in law Chuck, sister Vicki, neice Brooke, and mom and dad, Audrey and Floyd would yell at the TV at Brendon and other full of themselves characters.

To my friends Ariana and Alethea for your great comments and hilarious posts.  You Guys Rock!

And how could I forget my fellow blogger and Live Blog correspondent, Shanrick.  Shanrick played devil's advocate this season, siding with the VETS and causing lots of behind the scenes drama as her and I went at it during Brendon's shocking return.  A rousing emotional roller coaster of a good time.

I hope you all join me again next year....until then.

                                                         BIG BROTHER FOREVER!!!

Big Brother 13 - Episode 24, 25, & 26

I know I know, it's been awhile, and I won't say the show hasn't been exciting, but A. it's just not exciting enough to write a lot about and B. I never keep up the blog at the end...so my goal is to write about every episode...so far, SO GOOD

Episode 24
Pandora's box adds fuel to Jordan and Rachel's fire and Rachel works her butt off to slay the competition, win Veto, and take her and Jordan off the block.  Porsche, as HOH, now has to put Adam and Shelly on the block, making Shelly nervous that her betrayal of Jeff will give Jordan a chance for payback.

Episode 25
Shelly goes balls out to stay in the game.  First, by apologizing to Jordan for what she did, claiming she only has one alliance and that is her husband and daughter.  I believe that she is genuinely sorry, however, her diary room confessions claim that most of her words are a move to be saved.  Adam, as usual, sits back and floats around the room, hoping he is safe.  Shelly uses a "tool" she came in with and offers Rachel her prized possession (a diamond family ring) as collateral to her devotion to stay in the game.  Shelly confesses it was a FAKE ring and Rachel confesses that a ring offer is ridiculous.  In the end, Shelly's bold move to get Jeff out of the house sends her home, with a 2 to 1 vote (Kahlia voted for Adam to go home).  The episode ends with the houseguests in a donut factory of stickiness putting donuts on a long pole in a certain amount of time.

Episode 26
The donut game continues with Rachel slaying the competition YET AGAIN.  I love the way Porsche announces stuff..she should work for the TV Guide channel or interview celebrities or something...could she be the first Big Brother contestant to make it in the entertainment world?  Kahlia tells the diary room that she thought Jordan and Rachel were keeping Shelly and is worried that Adam will want revenge.  Adam tells the diary room that he wants revenge on Kahlia.

When it's time to see Rachel's HOH room, Kahlia is still sleeping and the houseguests comment that she is ALWAYS sleeping.  She does finally get up in order to see the Brenchel room (pictures covered with Rachel and Brenden) and both Kahlia and Jordan notice a picture from last summer's Big Brother where Brenden looks hotter than usual.  Adam wonders why they are talking about a cute man when he's in the room with them... /:=

Kahlia tries to make a deal with Rachel because she really doesn't want to go home.  In order to make it in the final three she will vote Porsche out.

Then Porsche goes to see Rachel.  I felt bad for Rachel when she told Porsche that they used to be freinds until Porsche turned on her.  Porsche didn't really comment on that, other than saying she will not put Rachel on the block if she gets the chance later in the game.  However, in the diary room, Porsche says that it was a lie to stay in the house.

Mid way through the show, we learn that Rachel is a bad driver and Adam loves Tori Spelling / Donna Martin from 90210.  Okay okay, we all know this but it's a foreshadow for Rachel's Pandora's Box option which shows Tori Spelling standing next to racks of clothes.  At first Rachel doesn't want to do it but then she realizes that there has already been so many twists and turns in the game and decides to say yes.  However, the backfire is on her as she is locked in the room with annual alumni Jesse (who is now a "celebrity" wrestler) - I really hate that they bring this guy back EVERY SINGLE YEAR! It's so irritating.  The other houseguests get the shopping spree with Tori Spelling which sends Adam through the roof.  Note -  I hope when Tori watches the show back she will realize NEVER to wear a peach nightgown on her super pregnant body and red red lipstick and platinum hair does not go with peach..EVER!

I always knew that Tori would totally agree to come on the show, so I'm glad it finally happened.  How did they know that Adam would stay to see it?

Also, one of the old traditions of Big Brother is a shopping spree...and THEY BROUGHT IT BACK. YAY!

Rachel puts up Kahlia and Porsche because A. They always want to get her out and B. Because they have been sleeping all summer and Rachel wants to play with competitors (okay okay Adam is the worst competitor in the house, however, he's easy to beat and on Rachel's side so it would be dumb to get rid of him).

on a closing, I do want to say that I liked Rachel this episode.  They made her almost human and kind of funny.  I've decided that with Shelly gone, she is now the best player and I can't believe I'm saying this...but I actually hope she wins.  I know I know, a vet shouldn't win, but as crazy as she is, she isn't cocky like Jeff or Brenden so I think she deserves the win.

Did I just say I want Rachel to win???  Who's floating now... ?!?!?

Big Brother 13 - Episode 23

Big brother's first recap episode of the season may be the most unique...a recap of all the drama that happened.

MINUS PRODUCTIONS DIRTY HANDS!!!!  they edited to make it seem like they weren't involved at all...

so how was it edited...

Rachel asked Jeff if he threw the Corn Hole veto because Shelly said so.  Jeff and Shelly start fighting about it which lasts a good 15 minutes and then they recap the show from the Double Elimination...oddly they bring Jeff back to talk about it...I thought he was supposed in sequestor!!! Production must be getting their fingers dirty again.

Rachel's best line ever: How can we be such bad players. LMAO

Loving Jordan's RAGE OF ANGER....it's just fun to see her different sides. but what Jordan has never realized this season is that she is in a game to win Big Brother twice (which has never been done)...a game I personally don't believe she should be allowed in...a game she doesn't personally think she should be allowed in. I know in my heart of hearts she came in to help Jeff win. and now she is stuck in a house without him.

Big Brother should not be about people living in a house that know each other. but that's just my opinion. some people like that junk.

Best player ever????? SHELLY   she is sooooooo ruthless. im in awe.  Who's Dr. Will? Evil Dick?  They don't got nothing on her...

This just in:  on the internet it says that Shelly's family is threatened by fans of Jeff.  That is so awful.  Granted I threw a HUGE tissy fit over Brendan's return so I KNOW all about taking the game too seriously and personal, HOWEVER, I would never try to connect with Brenden himself or his family nor would I want him to read this. He is a character on a tv show...he happens to be real, but CBS created "the Brendon that I hate" not Brendon himself.

The snake eye HOH competition happens and brand new player Porsche wins.  Where has she been hiding?

At this time Rachel and Jordan boo hoo and cry.  I feel bad for Jordan but on the other hand all that she is upset about winners celebrating..and that is what her team has been doing all summer.  Rachel, I don't feel sorry for.

This is a game for money...why are we crying.  They should be fighting for future votes...LIKE ADAM. MR FLOATER IS FLOATING TO  THE NEWBIE SIDE AGAIN...unbelievable. yet guess who is most likely safe...ADAM

Porsche goes to her HOH room and sees Pandora's box.  She goes through a trapdoor room into a beautiful living room with couch and wine glasses and two suitcases of $5,000 (which may go to her - they didn't really explain that part yet), and a card to read to the houseguests.

Porsche goes downstairs and tells the houseguests that because she chose Pandora's box The DUOS are back for one week. interesting.

Porsche and Kahlia become partners.
Jordan and Rachel are partners
and Shelly and Adam are partners.

The show ends with Jordan and Rachel celebrating the chance that if one of them wins the veto, they can get them both off...that's if they are up for elimination...we will find out on Wednesday.

does anyone else think that Jordan looks like a Skipper Barbie Doll and that Rachel looks like  one of the cheap barbies that you can get at the dollar store that's not really a Barbie and there legs, waist and head come off super easy?

just a thought...

Big Brother 13 - Episode 22

Tonight's DOUBLE EVICTION will be BLOGGED LIVE!

Part One

Day 55 - lots of recapping and explaining tonight's episode.  Why is Porsche in heels when everyone else (except for Jeff) is in workout wear...I'm so confused.  Do they already know who is playing for HOH?

Daniele works Shelly an idea that everyone will want to take Rachel with them so they can win over her and Jordan basically will get in the final two as well.

this interests Shelly which makes her REALLY consider going against Jeff and Jordan...this is exciting to me.  I've always known Shelly was down and dirty but to think that she would cut her alliance that she loves so much makes me actually respect her more!

but stupid Adam is floating to his eviction...I'm sure he will go home tonight.

LOVING the Shelly/Daniele alliance! LOVE IT!

Why is Adam kissing Jeff's ass soo much. There is no way they will take him to the end.

Shelly in her brilliance gets Rachel upset by telling her that Jeff threw the veto that sent him home.  Then Rachel talked to Daniele making this a very interesting episode...

Daniele/Rachel alliance?!  YES!

The vote goes live and apparently there was some drama where Jeff found out Shelly had turned.

Then Daniele goes on a rampage telling everyone they are not using their brains and sending a check to Jeff and Jordan.

Then it's time to vote.  Jordan votes Daniele out, Porsche votes Kahlia out, Shelly turns and votes Kahlia out, Rachel goes stupid and votes Daniele out. Adam of course does more ass kissing and votes Daniele out (not that it matters as no one cares about him).  Daniele goes home. :( sad but expected.

I'm really starting to hate Jeff tonight.  He is taking the "I have an ASSHOLE face like Brendon"....I like his gameplay but his bad attitude should send him home.

Part Two

HOH - Before and After questions
1. everyone is safe
2. Adam is out - i can't stand this guy - good
3. Porsche, Rachel, Shelly is out.
4. OMG its Kahlia and Jordan!!! - Jordan out.
5. KAHLIA WINS!!!!!!! OMG YES YES YES YES

at this time Shelly is FEELING GOOD for changing game, Jeff went off to pout and Rachel, Adam, and Jordan looked like they were going to cry.

Part Three

NOMINATIONS

omg too much pressure!  JEFF AND RACHEL is up (how is that Kahlia sticking to her word?) - But an awesome idea...let the houseguests decide which is worse.

Part Four

POWER OF VETO

run and look for clown shoes, and get your power of veto symbol.  This seems super easy and quick.

Rachel finds a clown shoe!!!
Then everyone else finds it...
OMG PORSHE WINS!!!

Rachel starts throwing a mini tantrum.
Jordan continues to cry over losing the HOH
Shelly continues to celebrate her change of game
Kahlia tries to talk game - "does it matter" she says to Porsche probably talking about who should go home.

Part Five

WILL PORSCHE USE THE POWER OF VETO?

I doubt it.

Rachel and Jeff make lame attempts to be saved...and by lame they basically didn't say much.

Rachel: "Saving me would help your game"  ???

Jeff:  "My actions speak for themselves"  bad answer.  He has been acting like a cocky bastard all week long!!!

Porsche goes with Daniele's wishes (aww i miss daniele already) and leaves Kahlia's nominations.

Part Six

Rachel makes a nice speech about how she has played this for two years.

Jeff gets personal (EVIL!!!) and pleads that his alliance should still be solid. omg! good move but really BELOW THE BELT!

Jordan - Rachel
Porsche - Jeff (yes)
Adam - Rachel (wow, you actually contemplated this...good boy. bad move)
Shelly - Jeff (WOAH!!!! Now that is a BELOW THE BELT player, yet I'm loving it.....)

TIE - OMG Kahlia chooses JEFF!!!! YES YES YES YES YES

wow, this is crazy!  Jeff did not expect to go home!

It's kind of funny, Daniele and Jeff are the best players and they are both out. CRAZY!

So you think that Jordan and Rachel are crying because Jeff was sent home...maybe that's true for Jordan but I THINK THEY ARE CRYING BECAUSE A NEWBIE IS GOING TO WIN THIS SHOW!!!!

as it should be.

Big Brother 13 - Episode 21

I missed the first ten minutes (I'm luxury camping and had to get myself to the lodge to watch it) so if you wanna fill me in on part one, feel free. I doubt I missed much...

I was told by my parents I missed nothing except for the houseguests got upset with Rachel because she made someone cry.  Jordan told Rachel she was cruel and Rachel said "I was just trying to be kind"...I feel like that is not quite accurate but oh well...

the rest is LIVE blogging...

Jeff announces the veto and Rachel is the only one not picked out the hat to play.  Jeff does not want Shelly to play because she is a horrible player and Danielle is very happy Rachel is not chosen.

Jordan takes off her stupid outfit in a striptease.

Big Brother chooses to spend about 4 minutes watching Jeff and Jordan playfully discuss if you say Mischievious like Mischief-ous or Mishcheevious.  Both are correct I believe but this just goes to show you how boring the house is now.  I mean...seriously...BORING.  That's right AMERICA...you chose to bring Brendon back for drama but REAL AMERICANS knew that as long as Brendon and his bag of ballyhoos didn't get HOH he would be going home...REAL AMERICANS should be watching the drama ensue with Dominic or Cassie still playing in the house...oh well, I guess some people don't think outside the box.

Daniele finds it hard to choose to evict Porsche or Kahlia....I feel like this is a no brainer as Kahlia is her BEST FRIEND in the house and went on and on to Kahlia about how much she loves her and how she wants it to be the final two.

Zingbot 3000 - I don't remember this from last year.  I'm not understanding the "Big Jeff" thing. When did Jeff start calling himself Big Jeff.  I'm glad they made fun of his stupid soul patch.

kudos for making fun of Porshe's butt, Rachel's FIANCE, Daniele's dad's coattails, Adam looking like Uncle Fester, Shelly acting like a DUDE, Kahlia sleeping all day, and Jordan not getting engaged because she can't answer questions.  Obviously some are funnier then others...funny - Porsche, Adam, Shelly, Kahlia.  Not funny - Rachel, Jeff, and Jordan.

watching Zingbot makes me realize how boring this show can be when nothing interesting is happening in the house...sigh...so hard to stay awake this episode.  Let's watch them make a Fembot.

I'm thinking Daniele will do very well in this game...maybe Jeff.  Obviously, they need to win the most. let's see.

Jeff was funny making fun of Porsche and Kahlia napping during the competition. FUNNY.
Adam made fun of Kahlia needing a charger for a man - Not Funny
Kahlia made fun of Adam needing a electric bride - Not Funny
Jordan made fun of herself being bad at putting stuff together - Not Funny.

Jeff wins HOH. will he put Daniele up and send her home?

Kahlia is being really boring tonight.  She keeps saying that she needs to work hard to stay in the house...but honestly she is just making stupid faces rather than actually doing anything.

Porsche says she needs to work hard to stay in the house, but will Jeff actually listen to her when she started playing the game the day she got nominated (49 days later)

Daniele says she needs to make sure Jeff knows she is not trying to get him out right now.  Will it work?

Jeff says that with the power he has a big decision to make...Porsche, Kahlia, or Daniele?

Kahlia feels like Dani will be put up and tells Shelly (all the while making more stupid faces).

Even though there are only actually two men left in the house, Shelly is certainly "playing" one of the guys.  Shelly asks if Jeff is going to backdoor Daniele.   Jeff tells the Diary Room that he is not going to give his decisions to anyone.  Shelly tells Jeff that Kahlia thinks she is the target and not Porsche.

Porsche tells Daniele that she is going to try to talk game with Jeff. This could be interesting...or boring...but most definitely will be AWKARD.

as Porsche heats up her neck pillow in the microwave she tells Jeff she wants to make a deal.  He tells her she never talks.  Then things get awkward AGAIN and she leaves...seriously, why have these two never had a conversation with each other???  Oh, Jeff, does tell Porsche not to worry...which basically tells Porsche to worry.

Kahlia goes to Jeff to talk actually talk game...Jeff admits that Kahlia seems solid about keeping Jordan in the game (a plus for Kahlia staying in the house), and Kahlia throws Porsche under the bus for not being an actual player of the game (a plus for Kahlia staying in the house).  Then Jeff says he hasn't decided but for Kahlia not to worry too much.  Which may or may not make Kahlia worry.  lol.  Jeff also says that if he saves Kahlia then they are even for her putting him up a few weeks ago, meaning they can gun for each other again if they both stay.

Daniele goes to Jeff to tell him how committed she has been to Jeff staying in the house and that Kahlia is her only friend in the house (not sure if she told Jeff that or not)...the closed captioning was off by 5 seconds!!!!

Rachel talks in the diary room...Rachel is still in the house...I can't believe she is laying that low.

Porsche does not want to be in the jury house with Brendon.
Kahlia is only safe if Dani goes up with her.
Daniele says she has been told she will not get backdoored so if she is she will make Jeff pay...

and now for the veto meeting...

I'm nervous. KEEP DANIELE!!!

Jeff makes the girls explain why they should get the veto.

Porsche wants to win and she likes Jeff's hair....?!?!?!?!!?

Kahlia wants to be responsible for herself and if she stays she can make more velvet cake ?!?!?!  Did she actually say that?!?!?!

Then Jeff makes a BIG JEFF MOVE (rolling eyes) and takes Porsche off and puts Dani up.  NOOOO. although I do find this to be the best game move for Jeff and it was what I expected.

Jeff then hits below the belt by saying that Dani going back on Jeff in the beginning of the game is his reasoning for getting rid of her as he only wants people in the house that will ROLL with him.  What an arrogant prick (yet again - good answer).  and that she told Julie Chen that she didnt regret putting him up and that if she goes home she can now say she does regret it.

This is where Brendon and Jeff differ.  Brendon plays completely on emotion and everything he does is with spite and anger.  Jeff talks as if he is angry but he is also smart enough to know how to actually play the game.  Hence why Jeff has done better than Brendon in both of their seasons.

Daniele is furious and says she will regret nothing but if she stays she will wreck havoc on Jeff!

Kahlia says its horrible to be up against her friend (didnt she just say five minutes ago that she hoped she could be up with Dani so that the target is off her)...

Next week - double elimination!

I'm pretty sure that Dani will go home but then the other person will depend on who gets HOH.

If Porsche or Kahlia get it then I'm pretty sure Jeff or Rachel will go home.

If Jeff, Jordan, or Adam get it, I'm pretty sure Porsche or Kahlia will go home.

If Shelly gets it, I'm pretty sure Porsche, Kahlia, or Rachel will go home.

until tomorrow....

Big Brother 13 - Episode 20

20 episodes already?!  seems like 80!

Basically I figured that once Brendon replaced Dominic as America's choice, drama would not really ensue...instead boring people would do boring things.  and this episode is what I call the beginning of boring.

Whenever the table gets smaller, cbs has to scramble to edit interesting things...but no one is really doing anything interesting.  Here is a top ten recap of what happened.

1.  Contestants compete by filling soap in a fish bowl.  Jeff becomes the first male HOH of the season.
2.  Shelly spews garbage about hating Rachel and what a kiss up Rachel is.
3.  Shelly tries to fight with Rachel but Rachel keeps quiet for once in order to keep the Jeff/Jordan/Shelly/Rachel alliance together.
4.  Jeff has to choose three have nots.  Danielle, Porsche, and Kahlia
5.  Daniele talks game to Jeff - she feels she should be safe since she made a deal with Jeff a week or so ago.
6.  Kahlia talks game to Jeff - he reminds her that she put him up and that his goal would be to come after her, but that his target is not her.  Kahlia says Rachel makes it seem like Kahlia is the target which pisses Jeff off because Kahlia is always quick to blame others for her own mistakes.
7.  Porsche talks game to Jeff - Jeff is appalled that Porsche would begin talking game to him after 49 days.  Porsche becomes uncomfortable and leaves.
8.  Jordan walks around in that ridiculous outfit acting dumber than usual.
9.  Adam does absolutely nothing interesting this episode.
10.  Jeff puts up Kahlia and Porsche telling them that they were nominated because he feels that they may not be up to par with the rest of the household as a game player and he wants to see what they will do (assuming their strategy will be to  nap).  Daniele fears she may get the backdoor.

And Now For The Big Brother (WHO'S GOT GAME) Portion of today's blog.

Jeff - Jeff is a good player.  He plays fairly personal but not crazy personal.  He is always protecting Jordan which is not really the point of Big Brother but he was brought back with her so i guess it makes sense.  He if very loyal to his alliance as long as they are loyal to him.  He is sneaky but in an innocent way.  He is VERY COCKY and thinks men are stronger and better than woman from everything that he says.

Jordan - Jordan is laying way low in this game.  I still can't believe she won her season.  She has done absolutely nothing except for playing really cool and keeping her alliance together.  She is very sweet and not sneaky.  She is much smarter than she acts but I haven't really seen her play a game.
Adam - Not a horrible game player but pretty bad.  He is not entertaining to me at all and he is the king of floaters.  He is likable enough that people save him and his competition  playing is not that bad.

Rachel - Rachel is quite a force.  She started the game off really strong but is getting weaker and weaker.  Having Brendon gone is good for me but not so good for her.  She plays the game absolutely personal but by being the "bad girl" she has a way of talking and saying the right thing and then managing not to get sent home.

Porsche - She has pretty much been sitting pretty all season.  She is pretty much a floater and just coasting.  She hasn't won anything and she is not very interesting.  She is kind of nice, kind of mean, and  kind of forgettable.  Going to the less popular group though could end up saving her or sending her home.  Either way, her time is up if she doesn't change up her game.

Kahlia - She started out being really annoying and absolutely not playing the game.  Then all of a sudden she is the cause of a huge fight in the house and then becomes head of household.  She is not the smartest player in any way shape or form, but unliked Adam who is happily able to float, Kahlia is actually playing the game now...forced to leave the big group that would knock her off when they are tired of her (like Adam) and siding with the unpopular group (Danielle) was the best thing she could have done.  If she goes home now, it will be said that she played a good game (much like Rachel the year before)

Shelly - Shelly has been the sneakiest player of all.  She is a floater but in a very conniving way which makes her more entertaining.  Two things about Shelly - she thinks she is really nice and she is not and she thinks she is a good competition player and she has won NOTHING.  Teaming with Jeff and Jordan was her best move...but will they save her the way that she wants to save them...we will see...

Daniele - My favorite player of the game.  I would love her to win.  She hasn't made the best moves this season but she has been brutally honest that this is a boring group of people who need who need to be shaken with game play.  Daniele hasn't lied low for awhile and even though her game is messy her competition has been top notch, giving her the Janelle award for beating the odds.  I'd love to see her win.

MY PICKS TO WIN
1st place - Danielle
2nd place - Jeff
3rd place - Shelly
4th place - Kahlia
5th place - Rachel
6th place - Porsche
7th place - Adam
Disqualified - Jordan - I truly like Jordan but I don't believe you should be allowed to play if you have already won (they should have done a Winners season and brought back all the winners to play. then she should have had a fair chance)

WHO WILL WIN?  just a guess...

Winner - Jeff
Jordan
Shelly
Rachel
Adam
Porsche
Kahlia
Danielle

shanrick's views ep 20

I thought this HOH comp was fun to watch. I loved the clips of all the wipe outs, too funny!

I was laughing at Dani trying to get Kalia to speed it up with no luck. lol

Jeff talking about how cute Jordan was covered in suds was super cute!

Woo hoo to Big Jeff winning HOH!

Game changer for me this week.

Shelly: normally I'm her fan, I loved that she was playing all sides of the house against each other but I seriously think that she has forgotten that she has lied to everyone. I would still like her if she just owned up to the fact that she was a liar and playing all sides but damn she thinks she is playing such a clean game and she is playing dirty. I liked her at the beginning but she is becoming a mean girl and for someone who claims to be playing a clean game she is being super mean to Rachel, who hasn't done anything to Shelly.

Dani: I liked how she was playing the game until her to early flip, she made a little bit of a comeback though. She was playing a really nice game but the last couple of weeks she has been getting really catty and mean.

Nominations:
Not shocked at all by the noms of Kalia and Porsche. I was laughing my ass off at Porsche finally talking game to Jeff.

Big Brother 13 - Episode 18 & 19

Not much to say about this week's Wednesday and Thursday's Big Brother...Here is the recap!

After pouting last Thursday, I came to terms with Brendon's return when Danielle thankfully became HOH and put up Adam and Shelly with the possibility of backdooring Brendon.

Wednesdays episode started with Shelly going on and on about how she isn't a liar (even though the camera keeps showing her lying) and Rachel is now the evil target who is trying to ruin Shelly's life by calling her out on a deal she made with Rachel and Brendon (even though she is aligned with Jeff and Jordan).

At Power of Veto, Brendon and Rachel did not get to play (bad luck one) and contestants played a game for prizes.  In the end, Jordan had to wear a humilitard, Shelly got 24 hours alone in the have not ruin and a phone call home.  Jeff won yet MORE money and Adam got the power of veto.

Adam pulled himself off leaving Brendon ready for backdooring.  Daniele names Brendon a Zombie who won't leave.

Due to all the confusion of Shelly's sexuality Big Brother decides to show her phone call with her daughter and husband (a slightly effeminate man)...more to come!

Thursday's episode

Shelly's daughter steals the show telling Rachel (on the tv) to shut up and that her mom needs to stop lying if she wants to stay in the game...the shots of Shelly's husband were few but they did show wedding pictures and said she was homecoming queen...why so much information about Shelly being "girly" big brother...has their been some letters written.

all im going to say is I know masculine women who marry feminine men so this could be a total ligit situation...but if we find out later it wasn't...I won't be surprised.

The house sends Brendon home (again) and Rachel has a new found determination (which she needs) to stay in the game.

The end of the show has houseguests putting tiny cupfulls of soap and putting it in huge fish tanks while walking in ballet shoes on slip n slide, soap and shower water...HOH TBD!

shanrick views ep 19 - 6th eviction

I'm disappointed in production tonight. This week with Brendon back in the house was full of drama just like I knew and hoped it would, but they didn't even show a quarter of it. It was a fun week to watch the feeds cuz people were all mad at each other most of the week. What I'm most bummed about is the fact that they didn't show the great argument between Jordan and Rachel. They should the beginning of it (Jordan and Rachel on the outside couch) and the middle of it (Jeff and Rachel on the outside couch) but they didn't show the end of it which took place with Jordan in the pool and Rachel next to the pool. Jordan yelled at her about how it would be stupid for them to vote to keep Brendon and how she "babysat" Rachel all last week while she was an emotional wreck (which Jeff, Jordan and Shelly did indeed do all week last week so that Rachel didn't go off on people). Rachel didn't take kindly to the word babysat and the two of the argued it out for awhile. It was really good to see Jordan stand up for herself and I'm super bummed that production didn't show it.

This week was such a wild ride! First the vets plus Shelly and Adam were PUMPED! Kalia, Dani and Porsche were about to kill themselves they were so sad. Then Dani won HOH and the emotions switched! Deals where brought up/made between almost every group in every way possible, it was really up in the air for a while who the house wanted out. For most of the begining of the week it looked like Shelly was on her way to jury, then it started to slide more towords Brendon leaving. I love weeks like that because deals and alliancies are going like crazy! I'm not at all shocked that Brendon was evicted, thanks America for bringing the drama for a week! There was even a funny hot dog eatting comp between Adam and Brendon. Adam won, 10 hot dogs in 4 minutes.

HOH Comp

I love ones like this! It is fun to watch people slip and slide all over the place. I wonder if Kalia is going to need an EMT this week, lol. I think my man Jeff has this HOH in the bag!

See ya on Sunday!

shanrick ep 18

woo hoo thanks America for bringing the drama! These people were starting to get boring. I love all the fighting, and there should be more tomorrow!

Good episode, I loved that they are showing my girl Shelly as a the crazy liar that she is, I just wish that Shelly thought she was a lair, I don't understand how she thinks she is straight shooting when she actually is the one that is telling stories around the house. Poor Rachel was the innocent party in this argument, this might have been one of the first times. lol

I love that the POV comp was just a way to get people to download the BB corn hole app, which I did last week, it makes me laugh.

I'm glad I finally got to see this comp because Shelly has been talking about what an awesome person Jordan is for giving her the phone call, and it was totally cute and that is why Jordan is America's sweetheart. I love that Adam was in the DR all "yes that is right I won the Veto" uh not really dude, Dani and Jeff gave you the win.

Humilatard- Jordan looks adorable in that thing, it is perfect for her! Jordan LOVES it, she was so excited the first night to wear it.

Of course Brendon goes up on the block again not a "SHOCKER"

Big Brother 13 - Episode 17

Before I begin updating on this episode, I want to make a quick public service announcement:

I feel BETRAYED!

I want to say this to all who reads this because of my unwaivering support to all that is Big Brother and America's Choice...I have watched the show religiously since Season One, including the really bad Winter Season...and not only have I watched the ups and downs of  the episodes, but have always considered myself on the hot button of what is popular with America...from the many prizes that Janelle won in her seasons to the ridiculous foods that are sent in to the have nots...I have always agreed with what America is thinking regarding this show...until now.

As many of you know and agree with me, the idea to  put veterans with newbies this season, definitely gave the newbies an unfair advantage and a direct target (and they didn't know each other prior to the show making it worse - the Vets had met at conventions and such)...it's like asking All Stars to compete with new dancers on Dancing With The Stars.  It is wrong and unfair...but Big Brother (never a ratings winner) constantly changes (expect the unexpected) while never actually changing anything.  So I'm always prepared for wacko twists...until now.

Last week, AMERICA voted BRENDON in.  BRENDON who AMERICA HATED last season.  BRENDON who is not considered GOOD or EVIL, but whiny, arrogant, and boring by most bloggers and fans of Big Brother.  DANIELE on the other hand was the JANELLE of her season.  She was liked along with her EVIL but loveable father  DICK who together played a strategic game.  DANIELE began a showmance with DOMINIC, a cutie patootie mama's boy who was accidently let go by the bully veteran group...who wouldn't want to root for the under dogs and fan favorite DANIELE to pull out all the stops and dramatically bring DOMINIC back, showing RACHEL and her "think their so hot" band of BULLIES that the game has FINALLY evened out?  But no...something went very wrong...maybe CBS rigged it to focus on the BRENCHEL camera time they have so dominated this season...or maybe AMERICA voted BRENDON in with the thought that he would have to fight off with RACHEL sending a huge EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER roller such as TV has never seen.  Two lovers fighting between love or a half a million dollars....that's the AMERICA that I know...

but maybe, just maybe, my THUMB on what AMERICA wants for BIG BROTHER is no longer on the PULSE...maybe AMERICA has turned it's back on DANIELE and love JEFF and JORDAN so much that  they are willing to bring BRENCHEL together to help them...or maybe, just maybe, (almost wanting to throw up) AMERICA'S hate for BRENCHEL is over and all that camera time has made them FAN FAVORITES instead of FAN ENEMIES...

either way, whether you want to say that this is just a way to make DRAMA between both CONTESTANTS and FANS OF THE SHOW...I will say this.  For this week, my stick is firmly drawn in the sand and DANI, KAHLIA, and PORSHE will be who I am currently rooting for (as long as they stick with DANI)...for once, I will go against AMERICA and vote for ME.  stretch out your hands and put up your swords...WHO'S WITH ME?????

and now for tonight's episode!  (yes, I'm bringing myself to watch it knowing I might have to fast forward certain bedroom scenes...I think you all know what I'm talking about...)

Brendon returned to the house making annoying grunting noises and standing on the table...wow America...you should be proud of yourself.

Kahlia and I shared a tear together regarding America's betrayal against Daniele.

Shelly, Adam, and Porshe finally stopped between floaters for one night and chose their sides.  Porsche went with Dani and Shelly and Adam chose the Vets (actually Shelly has always been with the vets but she is super sneaky and all in the house need to watch out for her, except for Jeff and  Jordan whom she genuinely loves)

and then it was time for the HOH.  and oh how the mighty have fallen...one by one, Rachel, Jordan, Brendon and Jeff were unable to accurately count things from different states (I would have been out round one with Rachel I'm sure)...then Shelly and Adam went out leaving Porsche and Dani and finally Daniele won (best case senario)...

I totally agreed with Porshe about olives not exactly being the food of Miami...nightlife doesn't mean martinis in 2011.

Daniele is actually not that good at counting but for some reason she always picked numbers that were almost the biggest difference...but almost doesn't send you out of the game.

My new favorite girls danced around the room and Rachel came to give them an odd hug and congrats...now I've made it VERY clear that I'm not happy about Brendon being back (because A. he is arrogant.  B. he is boring and C. he is whiny which adds up to what I consider BAD DRAMA..the kind of drama you don't actually want to watch on TV) but...I actually do enjoy watching Rachel at times...I hate her sexual behavior and her whinyness...but when she is not with Brendon she is far from boring..and I consider her GOOD DRAMA...I'm excited to see how she is going to try to stab Shelly in the back in order to get in good with Daniele this week...

Shelly interviews Jordan to help Jordan get a different job someday..then she asks her esoteric questions...what kind of job is she looking for????  I have never had an interview where someone uses big words to try to make me decide what I am and what I'm not...that was an odd moment..and that brings me to WHO IS JORDAN AND SHELLY???

What I know about Jordan - She is a receptionist (?) who might want to get a higher paying job someday.  I think she lives with her parents and she is in her early to mid 20s.  She won 500,000 a few years ago and also was probably paid pretty well for starring in a season of The Amazing Race and two seasons of Big Brother.  None of this is adding up...I don't know ANYONE with 500,000 in the bank...let alone lives at home in  low paying receptionist job...I say shenanigans are in place.

What I know about Shelly - she is woman who is extremely masculine/"butch" who is married to a man and has a little girl that's in elementary school.  She works for an outdoor program (might be nature tours, environmental teaching, or parks and rec stuff).  And in that job she gives esoteric interviews.  Things with Shelly are NOT ADDING UP!  I say shenanigans are in place.

Adam goes up to Daniele and basically says he will float anyway he can.  Shelly went up to do the same but was caught in one of her numerous lies and FINALLY her sneaky eviler than Evil Dick and Dr. Will put together is finally starting to crack.  Then Kahlia and Porshe whispered about her in front of her sending her reeling because she is a "honest" game player.  Shelly wouldn't know honest if it hit her in the face...Then she calls Rachel out for lying about her in the house while Big brother replayed scenes of Shelly lying...priceless...I'm glad to see Big Brother calling Shelly out but I will be honest...Shelly is playing an awesome game...the best...as long as she realizes her game is the dirtiest I've ever seen.

Rachel and Brendon come to Daniele with a truse which Daniele contemplates.

Daniele doesn't know what to do.  I wouldn't know what to do either...maybe put up Rachel and Shelly and watch them battle it out...although I'll say, for some reason, I no longer want Rachel to leave the show...having a week without Brendon made me respect her game for the first time ever...and bringing Brendon back angered me so much because it meant I had to hate Rachel again...

I'm not sure what Daniele's main plan is, but putting Shelly and Adam up seems an interesting choice...let's see how it all unfolds.

I will say, thankfully, with Brendon's return, the game did not shift...AMERICA...can we call a truse now too?

Halfway point - shanrick's opinions on the HG

Adam: I don't know where this guy stands on anything because he has done nothing this whole summer. I don't even know if he is a floater because he isn't doing anything, he always votes with the house so I don't know what to think. He has only stepped it up once to almost win a veto. On the feeds he doesn't really do that much either he is really pretty boring. One good thing is I haven't heard him use his metal voice in awhile!

Brendon: Welcome back to Big Brother! I find Brendon to be very normal and nice when he is just chillin' in the morning chatting about life out in the backyard with Shelly, aka nothing game related. I find Brendon to be super irritating when he is being all cocky, crazy and bulling, aka game related . I think Brendon and Rachel's relationship is highly dysfunctional, and their fighting and making up is gross. Socially he is way better without Rachel, with her his social game is crap cuz he is always fixing her mess-ups. But you got to give credit where credit is due and he is a great competitor, and that is why everyone is scared of him.

Dani: I think she has grown up since her season, I don't think I have heard her say the phrase "but it's not FAIR" once this season. I wanted her to win in her season and I kinda want her to win this one. She plays a great social game, she hangs with everyone and spends a lot of time not talking game, which I like. Her game is an uphill battle right now because of her to early move of trying to flip on Jeff and Jordan. I also HATE her new bestie Kalia, so that makes my opinion of Dani drop a couple notices. She is also in the top 3 of competitors of the house, this girl has mad skills! Dani has a couple of annoying habit that irritates the crap out of me! She has some saying that make me want to strangle her: "blah, blah, blah" "period" "or whatever"

Jeff: I love Jeff, yes he is homophobic but this isn't real life so I'm going to overlook that for now because he is great eye candy! He is funny and for the most part pretty levelheaded in the game, yes he gets mad but he knows it is a game and doesn't really take it too seriously. He is a good competitor also. His relationship with Jordan is sweet but also kind of like a non relationship.

Jordan: I love Jordan! In her season she was sweet and clueless, this time she is sweet with a side of semi bitchy and clueless. It always bothers me when people say she is a floater, I would never say she is a floater she has always picked a side and stuck to it, I would say she is a crappy competitor.

Kalia: I HATE Kalia! She is so irritating, she talks nonstop! She always knows more than you and thinks she is awesome! I love that her HOH was the of the dumbest reigns I have ever seen! She wanted to get Rachel out but instead of putting up one of the other alliance's peeps she puts up her own because she doesn't want to have people made at her and not like her, sorry that boat has sailed and they don't like you. She also let Shelly talk her into not putting up Jeff or Jordan by telling her that she needed to get out of Dani's shadow and not just be Dani's puppet. Anytime Kalia is talking my ears start to bleed, the only one good thing about her is that she sleeps a lot! Kalia's irritating saying "you know what I mean?"

Porsche: She is this year's Kathy, she is laying down or asleep 85% of the time in this house. The other 15% she is in the kitchen cooking and eating. She is also a major floater, she was with the vets, now she is with Kalia and Dani. I'm pretty sure if Satan was HOH she would align with him.

Rachel: I both like and hate Rachel. She is her own worst enemy, she pushes people away from her with her crazy actions. I like her when she acts normal and doesn't let the game make her crazy, and the girl knows how to have fun. I hate her when the game gets the best of her and she goes on a everyone hates me kick. She is a sometimes good competitor.

Shelly: She is my favorite of the newbies. She is playing a great game so far. She is working the mom vibe and getting info from all sides and feeding info to all sides. I think she is about to get caught though. Dani is on to Shelly big time as someone who can't be trusted after the whole Kalia thing. Shelly needs to cool it for a bit and not take any info she learns to the other side and by the other side I mean the other side of whoever she is getting info from. My one issue with her is that she always says she is a "straight shooter" and that "she doesn't lie". I have no problem with people lying in this game, hello that is BB, but I actually think Shelly thinks she hasn't lied and she has.

Ep 16 by shanrick

Tonight is the night we get to find out who is coming back into the house, as you all know I'm hoping and voting for Brendan! But first...

We get to see Lawon "act" mad and drop f bombs about how he can't believe Kalia nominated him! He wanted the rest of the house to think it wasn't his idea to go home and that his ally Kalia blindsided him! Needless to say he is not a good actor and everyone knew he was lying. My girl Shelly was trying to sleuth out the mystery. She is so good at getting everyone to tell her shit, I think it is soon going to catch up with her cuz she is doing it a little to much right now, but I love her!

Kalia and Dani think they can decide who goes home cuz they think they have the votes, little do they know what they don't and Shelly and Adam are currently with the vets and they want to keep Rachel cuz she is a bigger target and will take the spotlight off them and keep it on her.
I'm bummed they never showed any of Kalia's DR were she ranted and raved that BB was screwing over her HOH with this twist! She talked about ranting in the DR on the feeds, I wanted to see those.

The Kalia/Dani and Rachel conversation

That is how that deal went down, but they made it seem like Rachel told everyone about the deal offer and she didn't at all. She told them about the "we have the votes" conversation but not anything about the deal. Shelly just guessed that.

It wasn't shown but Shelly is the one that got into Kalia's head that they should keep Rachel and put up a pawn, she did it by telling her that she needed to get out of Dani's shadow and make bold moves, it was awesome and I was bummed that they didn't show it.

And the evicted HG is...

Lawon is voted out in a 6-0 vote I really wanted it to be a 5-2 vote so that Dani/Kalia knew that they didn't rule anything!

The twist!

Rachel's face when Julie announced what the twist was hilarious! The funny thing is that most of them had kind of figured out what the twist was going to be but some didn't believe it.

I was sitting on the edge of my seat hoping that Bookie was voted back in cuz I love me some drama and those other 3 are super boring and would bring NO drama and I don't watch BB for a bible study I watch it for the infighting and the DRAMA!
The top 2 vote getters are Dom and Bren, yeah!
Bren is announced the winner and my fist shoots in the air and a give out a whoop!

The comp was a super easy comp to I think give lame Lawon at least a fighting chance, but he still sucked and of course didn't win, and Bren is back in the GAME!

I think if Rachel could have climbed inside him she would have! lol

HOH

We don't get an HOH tonight but hear are my thoughts.

I would love to see Shelly, Adam or Porsche win cuz I would love to see where there heads are at.

Vets - I really want one of them to win cuz I want them to get my archenemy Kalia out of the house!

Dani - It's a toss up on her, she would make good drama but I don't want to see another week a Kalia on a power side. Plus if she wins we don't really get to see if any of the floaters will switch sides, and I really enjoy watching the floaters switch back and forth.

Big Brother 13 - Episode 16

I'm shaking with disgust, confusion, shock...and the realization...CBS RIGS BIG BROTHER...how could this have happened.

This was the way it was supposed to go...Lawon would get evicted by a small majority for being stupid and the worst big brother player ever...then fan favorite and cutie patootie Dominic would get a landslide and easily beat Lawon in the challenge...with tables turned, Rachel would stay in the game being crazy but playing alone and Daniele, Dominic, Kahlia and Porshe would be FIGHTING against Rachel, Jeff, Jordan, and Shelly...Adam would float back and forth...good television had by all...

but NO...something insane happened...something gross happened....something completely wrong....

first of all, ALL the houseguests voted for Lawon, making him look even stupider than he already did...and  showing Jeff and Jordan that Daniele and Kahlia can't be on the their good graces if EVERYONE in the house went along with the plan.

THEN...the worst possible thing happened...it's inconceivable.  America loves to hate Brendon and Rachel, but hates them all the same...Brendon's cockiness this season has made everyone watching it sick to their stomachs and the camera time that he and Rachel have been hogging has been equally sickening...and yet...somehow CBS must have managed to do some sort of rigging and said BRENDON GOT AMERICA'S VOTE?!?!?  There is no way in HELL that BRENDON COULD GET AMERICA'S VOTE....Dominic should have landslided with Cassie a close second...Brendon in third way behind and Keith nonexistent...

THIS MAKES NO SENSE...can I seriously continue to watch this show now?!?!  I mean...seriously....

I'm so spent.  I'm so shocked.  I'm so dissapointed...

Big Brother 13 - Episode 15

This was the best episode of the season (for a POWER OF VETO night). Lot's of drama...something exciting all hour long.

the only non-exciting part was watching the distruction of Rachel (no more fake hair, make-up, cocktail waitress or velor pantsuit outfits)...just horribleness...crying over and over again about going home and Brendon.  She reminds me of my evil self centered chip on her shoulder cousin the way she whines and cries...ugh.

Here are some of the MAJOR events of the night...

Jeff and Jordan talk to Shelly about her alliance with them (finally they showed this or they just had another fight) but either way Shelly promised that her alliance with them was SOLID.

The Power of Veto went grecian and (Portia looking gorgeous) hosted a ball rolling game for 300 points.  Rachel and Kahlia barely even tried after awhile and Adam and Jeff went for the win...in the end with a 2 point difference, Jeff won.

Kahlia met with Jeff and Jordan to ensure that Jordan would not be put up and that she had to have Jeff win the veto (???) - Jeff and Jordan didn't buy it though...

Rachel went to Kahlia to build an alliance....which got Kahlia thinking...what if she saved both of her targets and then they respected her in the end...

When Kahlia told Daniele her idea, Daniele got nervous and upset...making the show very uncomfortable to watch...

Daniele, Porshe, Lawon, and Kahlia all hang out and talk strategy and then Lawon says his first line of the show, maybe 6th line of the entire show...says "Put me up...then I can get evicted and get the surprise and then come back..."

WHAT THE F*%&!!!  Is LAWON the most idiotic player every on Big Brother...worse than Marcellus?  YES HE IS!  OMG!!!

so that's what happened.  Kahlia and Daniele celebrated their luck and Lawon went up.

Lawon said he would give a dramatic show when he was put up..instead he made a pout face. he is out of control ridiculously lack luster and mentally ill.

tonight my hope is that Lawon is sent home, Dominic is chosen to play Lawon, Dominic wins and fights Lawon and comes back in the HOUSE!!!

shanrick's view on ep 15, pov

I missed the first 15 minutes so I have not comments about the first part, obvioulsy.

Krazy Kalia
This girl is so clueless. She wants to make big bold moves like her new bestie Dani but she doesn't want anyone to know like her. I also find her logic...missing.

So she nominated Rachel and Jeff for eviction, but when questioned by Jeff said her target was really Rachel and she just needed Jeff to play hard for the veto so he would win it. Kalia stated many times that she didn't expect Jeff to get mad at her for nominating him.

  • Hello don't know know the motto of this show, "expect the unexpected" ha!
if you wanted Jeff to play to win the veto, what was the point of nominating him, especially after the "backdoor Jeff plan" that turned Jeff hardcore against you last week. Uh earth to

  • Kalia the best way to get someone to mend fences and like you again might not be to put them up for eviction.

Kalia also talks big game that she is so confident and not a floater (the true test of this will be if the other side wins HOH next week) but I find her to be super wishy-washy and easily lead (by new bestie Dani). Kalia's nominations are exactly what Dani told her to do, and I know this because Kalia asks Dani "what should we/I do?" all the time.

The Rachel Drama

Okay I like Rachel, I find her instability to be fun and interesting to watch, especially in this house filled with quite and weak people. I knew her game would be a mess once Bookie left but hopefully she will pull it together soon! She seems to be slowly getting it together but she hilariously talks about her Bookie being gone from the house like he died from some terrible disease. A lot of the times on the feeds she is just a normal insecure girl chatting and having a great time.

POV Comp drama

Okay here is a little production magic. The fight I talked about last time from the food comp between Jeff/Jordan/Shelly was used tonight to be made to look like a fight about JJ not being happy Shelly's name was pulled for the veto. That Shelly/Jeff talk in the purple room was from the food comp fight. I love that Jeff comes into apologize to Shelly and starts with "what's up dummy" classic.

Whoa Adam is on the show! he really stepped it up for this comp and almost won it! I'm so interested in what he would do with any power. Plus he shaved his beard and now look l

Rachel needs to get it together and clam down, she is so all over the place.

Big Jeff wins just like he said he would!

Post POV drama

Of course Kalia now has to nominate someone new and she is stressing out about it, ah this is one of the spots were her logic is missing to me. If your goal was to put up Jeff so he would play hard and win the veto, how are you freaking out that you have to up someone new up! Did she really think Jeff would win and not take himself off the block? Kalia is also just now starting to worry about the twist that they all new about going into this HOH, the evicted HG has a chance to come back. Now she is all worried that Rachel could come back even madder and really want to get her and Dani out. Way to use your brain and figure that one out real quick, all the other HG talked about how they were glad they didn't win the HOH because of this fact but they talked about it right after the HOH not half a week in when Kalia finally figured it out!

LAWON!

I don't think this dude is playing with a full deck, to be honest I think he might just have the Joker! I love that spacecase Lawon solves Kalia's problem of who to be the replacement nom so she doesn't have to make another person mad at her. Who in their right mind says it is okay to nominate and evict me cuz I (who has performed AWFUL in every comp) think they are going to win anything and come back with some mythical secret power! His DR's were insane he is crazy!

I'm excited to see tonight's episode! I sure as heck hope that Bookie comes back so we get some MAJOR drama in the house, I know I voted for him. I want him to come back so much just to see Dani and Kalia's faces!

Big Brother 13 - Episode 14

I just read Shanrick's blog before writing mine so I'll try to not to just replay everything that happened as well as what she said.  But I will say that I didn't know about the Jordan/Jeff/Shelly fight and believe that CBS made a strategic move not to show us that (not wanting to change viewers minds yet of Shelly's alliance to Jeff and Jordan because she has never talked about not wanting to be aligned)...and CBS, I call shenanigans on you for not making reality tv "real".  If you'd stop showing Rachel crying, then you would have more time for Shelly.

First things first, Kahlia became head of household.  This made me very happy as it's the first time a newbie is in power, and let me say Dani is the ONLY one okay (if not ecstatic) about this...Rachel, Jeff, and Jordan are all in bad moods and I find it funny because they aren't bragging around anymore acting like King and Queen Bees (not that Jordan brags, but she definitely showed a DEFENSIVE mood tonight).

I kind of was hoping that Rachel would become more likable without horrible Brendon around but honestly she was absolutely pathetic...and coming to grovel to Kahlia was pathetic.  I loved it when Kahlia talked about eating humble pie "homegirl"... Kahlia used to be so annoying but they are really editing her way better now.  I absolutely did not believe Rachel when she said she respected Kahlia as a player.  Kahlia has been whining and crying for most of the season and then all of a sudden just started the game...Rachel calls her a huge floater, why whould she respect her. LIES!

Shelly's "race" conversation with Kahlia was so strange.  It reminded me of when Lawon taught Shelly about gay people.  Why is Shelly so naive?  Or as Shanrick said, they are editing Shelly in a way to make her like Jordan and that she is "learning" about different types of people.  Can we actually have a conversation about the fact that Shelly isn't saying anything about being a lesbian...is it wrong for me to think that she is and that she raises her daughter with another woman?  Is she just very butch but straight?  Am I being insensitive for bringing this up time and time again.  I'm not trying to be mean...I'm a fan of lesbians but it's hard that Shelly is playing the role of a straight woman and then walking around in those outfits with that swaggery talking the way she does...maybe I should just stop before I say too much...we are all on a spectrum of feminity and masculinity.

FOOD COMPETITION

As you all know, I find food competitions a waste of time, but I will say that everyone looked so good.  Lawon was dressed by Big Brother so he looked really nice and normal and Shelly looked good too.  Jordan looked absolutely beautiful, though.

HOH

wow, there was a lot of drama.

As you all know I think Shelly's game play is almost as dirty as that mean african american woman who got to the semi finals in season 3....but she is playing an AWESOME game...teaming up with Kahlia for safety but staying with Jordan and Jeff is sooo smart.  it's funny, I totally want her to get caught and sent home but I also respect the malicious game she is playing..and that is how she differs from that evil woman of Season 2.

I'm not sure what Kahlia is thinking...is she doing what Daniele wants or not...her idea of putting Jeff up as a pawn is just okay to me...but obviously it backfired when Jordan and Jeff flipped out about it, understandably.  I'm not sure what I would have done in Kahlia's position but honestly Jeff telling the HOH that he is out to get her in the future was NOT SMART.  At that point, I would have said - keep Rachel and send Jeff home.  He is a strong player but he shot himself in the foot tonight.  I actually want to see Kahlia beat Jeff in this game, just for that!

I kind of did think Kahlia would choose someone else to help her in the game but she sticked to her guns and went for Rachel and Jeff...hmm.  Funny how outspoken Jordan is being.  I guess my only problem with Jordan right now is that we aren't playing duos anymore and yet Jordan is still acting like they are...Jordan, you have to beat Jeff to win...are you planning on going to the final two and losing so that Jeff can win this time...stop making the game personal, Jordan.

FINALLY - omg Rachel!   You can't stand not being the star, so now you are stalking and antagonizing Daniele. CRAZY!

and again CBS is editing Shelly out of the show...Shelly (in live feeds) often gives Rachel advice on acting appropriately in public setting (wearing underwear, not showing off, not being so bitchy) and even though they showed them talking, they never explain that Shelly is the mother figure in the house.

who knows, Shelly is leading this game right now....

Live blogging with shanrick

Before this show starts tonight I had to make sure that I have a couple of barf bags ready! I am not looking forward to an episode with Kalia (my least favorite player) in power.

Get your tissues ready Rachel is going to cry a river!

Vomit # 1, Kalia in the DR after winning HOH

I love Dani but she is being a little too cocky!

Porsche is super lame, she needs to do something in this game, besides float back and forth.

Vomit # 2, Kalia dancing and talking to herself in the storage room!

Vomit #3, Kalia's stupid boots.

Jordan is so nice I want to see her get mad! lol

oh they are on to you Porsche, oh wait they have been on to you for awhile.

Vomit #4 Kalia bawling in the HOH room!

Laughing my ass off at Jeff's comment about Kalia crying like she walked into a morgue.

Love the hatred that Dani is throwing at Rachel, she needs to get over that.

Hahaha laughing at Rachel sucking up, but that is what this game is about.

vomit #5 Kalia smirking about humble pie!

This conversation between Kalia and Shelly is edited weird. It was all about Shelly trying to figure out if Kalia has money.

Oh Adam is on this show? I don't care about him or his elf suit.

Vomit #6 Adam stripping!!

Laughing at Shelly's Kalia "hammock attack"

Dani is so ruling Kalia right now.

What cute outfits for the Have/Have Not comp, except for the fake glasses! I HATE when people wear fake glasses! They are not a fashion statement they are a sight aid. You wouldn't use a wheelchair for a fashion statement!!

I like this food comp, it looks both kinda fun and gross all at once.

Lawon you don't have a strategy, cuz you have no game and serve no point. I am hating Lawon more and more. His DR persona is so not how he is in this game, he just quietly sits in the corner starring normally.
Gross get it in your mouth Lawon not down your shirt!

Did Shelly throw this? I'm super confused as to how you don't answer what your team tells you from the sideline! and how would you guess olives?!? There was nothing green or black in that cup!

Poor Jordan crying is so sad.

Catfish and coconut, what a great thing to have! I like catfish!

Love they game Shelly is playing! She is doing such a great job!

Kalia better leave my man Jeff alone! I love that her idea is to show Jeff that he isn't her target by putting him up? How does that work?

WOO HOO Jordan is getting MAD!!! LOVE IT!!

Kalia's reasoning is dumb, if she isn't going for Jeff than don't put him up, she keeps thinking she is a bigger player than she is. I LOVE DRAMA!!!! See you at veto!

LOL loving Kalia crying in DR cuz she can't handle the blood she could be getting on her hands!

LOL to Rachel acting 3 years old and stalking Dani!

Loved Jordan's speech and nominations!

Vomit #6, Kalia you are so not making your own moves, you are making Dani's.

Weird production note; Shelly, Jeff and Jordan got into a big fight after the food comp because they thought Shelly threw the comp. They made up but it was a big blow up, Jordan was yelling. I find it weird that they didn't show it.

Big Brother 13 - Episode 13

Overall fairly exciting episode.  I had 9 people in my parents house and most of them were screaming at the tv... GO HOME BRENDON .... GO HOME BRENDON ... my mom and brother in law were the most vocal ... not to mention everyone in our family was given barf bags for everytime they showed Rachel crying...

I will say though that Rachel's pouting at the end of the show was priceless ... oh how the mighty have fallen.

First things first...BEFORE EVICTION

Rachel and Brendon boo hoo for 10 minutes and Porshe is forced to start spending time with the other houseguests due to Rachel's behavior.

Dick returns on camera to say what a shitty job Daniele was doing and how he would have done a lot more ... that's funny since his advice to Daniele was to stay low for the first half of the season...how is that doing a lot more?  I'm pretty damn sure Dick would have been STIRRING THE POT, but when Daniele does it, she is playing terribly...hmm...she is still in.

EVICTION

Porshe sided with Rachel in the end to send Jordan home but the houseguests all agreed Brendon should go.  Hallelujah!  FINALLY - I'd much rather see Rachel go crazy in the house with the other houseguests than boo hoo and kiss face with her FIANCE!!!

HOH

THIS WAS AWESOME!!!  All of a sudden the biggest two faced floater in the game is actually starting to play...first her big fight last week with Jeff and Brendon and then her alliance with Daniele and now she is head of household...I may have misjudged Kahlia (oww Lawon hurt me)!

biggest floater is still - Lawon

scariest player is still - Shelly

safe this week is still - Daniele!

Life is good.  I wonder if Rachel will be able to fight it out for a few more weeks or if she will basically pack her bags of a broken heart.  It's a friggin game so stop bringing your personal life into it, RACHEL!

THE TWIST

Shannon figured that Cassie was being sequestered but now we know it was true.  They all will.  Keith, Cassie, Dominic, or Brendon will be coming back in the game to play against the evicted houseguest...hmmm interesting.

My thoughts are that America hates Brendon as much as me and they will bring my cutie Dominic back in the game...Wouldn't Daniele be sooo HAPPY!!!! OMG I'm LOVING THIS TWIST as it means good things for my favorite characters...

until Sunday - who will Kahlia nominate?  I feel like Adam, Porshe or Lawon would be good to go since they have a chance of coming back and if they are back  - no biggie.

Big Brother 13 - Episode 12

I decided to watch tonight's episode LIVE...so here is my ramblings.

THE VOMIT OF BRENCHEL

boo hoo hoo...I can't believe I'm on the block...ugh.

"I know that hard word that I just said because I'm getting my PHD"  - BRENDON!  Everyone knows that, especially your FIANCE!  Why are you playing to the camera every friggin minute!!

Daniele don't even bother talking to Rachel...she thinks you are "mean"...she thinks you are "ruining her life and taking her away from her man" - unbelievable

VETO!

Daniele picks Jeff - good
Rachel picks Adam - good
Brendon picks Porshe - crap...but Porshe won't ruffle feathers I don't think.

I knew Daniele would pick Lawon.

I'm getting sick of Shelly's attitude...just the way she sits there all condenscending.  Fall Down Old Lady - that's for you Ariana! lol

Jeff - DON'T BACKDOOR DANIELE!

I love the idea of doing old competitions together but it seems a little early.

Adam - "I need to win this Veto..." REALLY?!?!  He seems like a dumb player...yet he is still in the show. go figure.  That's what's interesting about Big Brother.  You can be a good player by being a bad player.

I LOVE the premise of this veto game!

SHUT UP BRENDON AND YOUR FIANCE SHOW.

I agree Khalia about Brendon's sex talk to Rachel.  and I'm vomiting like you said I would.

This is the RACHEL show...RACHEL does all the competitions!  Never mind, Rachel is out.

Daniele you are smart thinking that Brendon will be cocky...but then you messed up and were wrong.  Go DANIELE...I'm rooting for you girl!! - ugh.  Daniele is out.

Now I'm getting nervous...

Jeff - start MILKING!

commercial break before we find out what happens with 5 seconds left for Jeff....How Exciting Big Brother Editors!

OMG I totally thought Jeff was going to win that one... :(

Porche or Brendon...this is scary. Both will take Rachel off!!!

WHAT! Brendon won...now he will take Rachel off and go home.  That's kind of stupid...but honestly I'd rather have Rachel stay then Brendon.  Brendon stayed in his season and was BORING and talking about Rachel all the time.

anytime Rachel and Brendon talk alone I get sick to my stomach.

Jeff - talking to Daniele is smart...hopefully it won't backfire.

My mom just said "I'm tired of looking at Brendon's face!"

SHELLY - you are so gross...you seem like you are super high on drugs and I'm getting a lesbian vibe...thank you Daniele for not telling Shelly anything. PUT SHELLY  ON THE BLOCK!!!

How is Jordan less of a threat..her sweetness got her the 500,000 Dollars LAST TIME!!!  I like Jordan but it would be smart to get her out...although I don't want them too.

Raisins and Rhubarb would be good I guess...I don't know.  Coconuts and Catfish...maybe not so bad. You can cook with both...

So basically I want Brendon or Shelly gone...but I'm so tired of Brendon so he should go first.

Time for Jeff and Jordan to talk to Daniele.  I believe Jeff will keep Daniele but not really sure.  Now Brendon is lying to Jeff...interesting.  This is making my head hurt as I'm actually getting myself confused now.  Who is doing what...?

Brendon wants to make a deal with Daniele and get Lawon out...and Brendon is now making Daniele think and squirm.  I DON'T LIKE THIS!

Brendon's House of Cards comment is a bunch of shit...and I LOVE Daniele thinks so too!  Jordan - I really hope you are safe!  and Princess Rachel - you are stupid as your FIANCE!

-- until tomorrow...the return of Evil Dick -- otherwise known as UNECESSARY....

BRENDON BETTER GO HOME!

Big Brother 13 - Episode 10 & 11

Episode 10 - You Can't Win On Looks Alone, Dom.

Tonight's episode was a sad one.  Dominic, the scapegoat of Daniele's master plan to backdoor Jeff (in order to start getting rid of very strong players) was sent home.  Daniele, bored of doing nothing in the game for four weeks decided that she would use her friend Dominic to help launch a new plan.  Getting Rachel and Brendon on board, or so she thought, would end up getting her and Dominic farther in the game because she knew that once there was a final five, Jeff and Jordan and Rachel and Brendon would totally gun for getting rid of Daniele and Rachel and Jordan both put Dominic up...

BUT...Rachel and Brenden trusted Jeff and Jordan more than Daniele and kept nominations the same, sending Dominic packing.

Tonight's episode was the first time that Kahlia decided to start getting camera time.  Apparently she had been talking to everyone in the house and it leaked that she knew about the backdooring of Jeff, so Jordan suggested everyone get together to talk aka scream and yell at Kahlia.  Although I did say that Kahlia was the most useless character last episode she has FINALLY started to play....it's kind of funny how they are calling Kahlia out but not calling Shelly out.  Shelly's devotion to Jeff and Jordan is ridiculously strong but she is also pretending to be on the newbie's side too.  Shelly is playing a very good game, but let's face it, she ain't playin' nice at all.  and yet Kahlia is taking the fall...maybe because Kahlia is such a complainer.

I  WANTED TO SMACK BRENDON when he said "don't talk to me fiance like that!!!" OMFG...this is why I can't like Brendon...One minute he acts normal, the next he is absolutely disgusting....and what is WRONG WITH HIS KNEES???????

The head of household competition had houseguests having to stand on skis while snow fell on them and the wall started to dip down to the floor.  Good Luck Houseguests...I'm rooting for Daniele.  I'm sad Dominic went home and the Jeff/Jordan and Rachel/Brenden duos MUST BE SPLIT UP!

Finally - did Porshe leave the house and no one mentioned it...she is no longer on the show...even during the Kahlia fight...she wasn't there.  talk about waste of space.

Finally PS, Julie Chen gave us a shocking surprise.  All players must play alone now.  I thought we already knew that and I thought the houseguests knew that. ???

Episode 11 - Payback's a Bitch - You can Dish it out, But you can't Take It, Brenchel!

A great episode!  Tonight the power shifted...here is my comments on the show...

1.  First up - The HOH competition.  I figured guys wouldn't do well with it.  But if I hear Lawon say "he's here to compete" and then fail right away, I'm going to scream.  The only thing he is competing is by laying low and floating...

2.  Jeff - don't fall off and then tell Jordan what she needs to do...luckily he caught himself and said "nevermind, don't listen to me, since I'm off and you are on".

3.  Loved loved loved that Daniele was feeling no pain.

4.  For the second episode in a row, Kahlia is playing the game.  I'm absolutely shocked that she stayed on so long.  Brenden mentioned that she is played so well because she had to do minimal movement and was using her muffin top to hold herself up.  mean but probably true.

5.  SHELLY gout OUTED!  Up until tonight's episode everyone loves Shelly and she has lied low and played smart...but all of a sudden the vets started rooting for her big time making it clear to Daniele and Kahlia that she was working for the vets.  It didn't help that she was talking game with Jeff and Jordan during the competition and called Daniele and Kahlia classless when she got knocked off.  I do think Shelly is playing a good game, but after tonight, I definitely want her to start sweating some of her decisions...in the end though, aligning with Jeff and Jordan is definitely the lesser of most of the evils in the house.

6.  Daniele wins! game on!  Rachel and Brenden start crying.

7.  Prizes - Adam wins an elf costume.  Jordan and Brenden are have nots eating sardines and seaweed and Jeff wins $10,000.

8.  Under fire over Jeff's homophobia, CBS gives Lawon a chance to "teach little gay boys and girls to be themselves" while teaching Jordan and Shelly acceptance.  I was irritated by this since it was skirting the issue, however, I genuinely really like Jordan and I love that cbs let her go through the  motions of confusion over gay people to acceptance, saying that she would love her gay children just the same.   Cut to Jeff - oh, they didn't.  F-U CBS.  Get some balls and deal with this issue.  I don't think Jeff is a bad guy.  I think he is either really sheltered or in the closet and the show needs to deal with it in a positive way.

9.  Smart Daniele changes game plan and aligns with Jeff and Jordan telling them that they are not her target this week and trying to get jeff out was a dumb move.  Then she puts Rachel and Brenden up for going against the plan they agreed on doing last week.

This is a complicated game...here are the facts vs. my opinions of each character.

Kahlia - shooting herself in the foot for talking too much vs. complaining two face who is winning my respect this week for her determination in the challenge and for siding with Daniele.

Rachel - gets upset when she isn't HOH vs. you can't be HOH every week you nasty heffa.

Brenden - playing a good game but gets emotional too often vs. although he plays a clean game his behavior disgusts me.

Jeff - getting emotional vs.  irritating but still in my top 5 contestants.

Jordan - playing smart but safe vs. I really like her and want her to dump Jeff.

Daniele - screwed up last week but redeemed herself this week vs. I want her to win the whole thing.

Porshe - she does nothing in this show vs. she does nothing in this show.  she might as well have walked out with Dick.

Lawon - a nice guy vs. absolutely dilusional and useless.

Adam - playing an okay safe game vs. he can leave at any time in my opinion.

Shelly - playing the best game so far vs. she is on the wrong team and I think she needs to be kicked off or she will win the whole thing.

Who will win the VETO????

3rd Eviction -shanrick's thoughts

Finally some good drama is about to happen! Dani likes to makes the moves and doesn't care who pays the price, which makes good tv.

First off, I LOVE LOVE LOVE that they showed that Kalia is a big lair!! I hate Kalia!! She is so irritating, she is lazy, runs her mouth non stop, she always says she isn't a floater but she is to busy floating back and forth to know what is going on. She also cries and complains how she hates being in the house and how she should just leave. Then LEAVE!

I loved that we finally have some fighting! The producers even did a halfway decent job of cutting the fight together. The one issue I had was that they made it seem like everyone was in the kitchen for the whole fight. They weren't. It happened it phases.
Kalia, Brendan, Jeff and Lawon in the kitchen fighting
fight dissipated
Kalia cried to Jordan in the purple room
Jordan started to get everyone together for the house meeting
Big fight starts in the kitchen
Dani and Shelly (they stayed in a bedroom talking)didn't want to come to the kitchen at all and didn't show up until the very end. The fight was about 2 hours from start to finish.

Eviction

I love that Dom did a crazy speech, most people just say "thanks I had a great time"

Not shocked at all the Dom walked out the door. I love that "I'm not a floater Kalia" cried about evicting Dom but she didn't have to but she did it because she is a floater.

I laughed at Dani's "I'm not afraid to go against the king and queen". You have to respect that Dani plays her own game. That is why I like her. but damn that girl needs to stop saying blah, blah, blah in every conversation!

Porsche is a totally waste of space up her "this jellyfish" comment was great!

This is the second week in a row that the evicted house guest threw the POV, these newbies are dumb!

HOH comp

I think that Dani has this one in the bag, she works out like a maniac. I think the boys are going to fall first, this game seems meant for shorter people. I'm guessing Lawon bites it first, cuz he has no game. I wonder if this is going to be the comp with a costume "prize"?

If Dani wins like I think she will we are in for a fun week. I don't think Jordan has the skills to hang in there and keep the Vets safe. This will be the first time that the power shifts, but how far will it shift? Dani isn't sitting as pretty as she was before the "backdoor Jeff plan" blew up in her face. I think we will finally get to see if Rachel really has changed, you always got to see a different side of her when she wasn't in power.

And how will my fav Shelly fare this week?????

Big Brother 13 - Episode 9

It's that time again...time to find out what I think about the characters on BIG BROTHER 13 - THE ALL STAR SEASON PART TWO - wait, there are new people on the show?  Who?  They aren't on camera?

which I will say, makes me quite opinionated in this season as today's episode centered around Jeff, Jordan, Brenden, Rachel, and Daniele...which it tends to do each episode...irritating and yet, what's more irritating is how useless the newbies are.

Brenden - I don't dislike him.  I think he is smart, honest, and way too emotional.  He would be a lot better if there was no Rachel, but then, it wouldn't even be the same show without Rachel.

Rachel - the star of the show.  She wins all competitions and holds court with the cameras.  Big Brother LOVES WATCHING Rachel.  I find her annoying, innapropriate, and sad.  But she also plays an honest game if you think about it.  Her emotions get in the way of her gameplay though so she has to win competitions to stay...and she does.

Jeff - a fairly good player but I'm so tired of his diary room nonsense.  He always has something rude to say about people who aren't like him...tonight he was going on about how a woman should not have hair and need to take care of business.  I just want to smack out his arrogance sometimes.  He also seems like he lays around a lot.

Jordan - The QUEEN of laying around.  on Live Feeds there were four cameras showing her laying in four different positions.  She is a fairly good player, smarter than she acts, and a nice girl.  A little bit boring though.

Daniele - one of my favorite characters...however, tonight she shot her self in the foot by working so hard to keep Dominic.  I don't see her getting out of this one, but you never know...

Dominic - the only camera ready newbie.  He is playing a smart game to a point but he talks to too many people.  Throwing the veto was for the 3rd time, the dumbest move...and in the end, he will probably pay for it by getting sent home big time.

Adam - "the brains" uh no.  Adam is not my favorite.  I don't find him interesting at all...but he tries.

Shelly - currently the best player.  She has everyone loving her.  They know she is a good player but they don't know how wicked she is...and funny enough she is actually a nice lady who is in it to win.  She just might...

THE REST....here is where it gets interesting.  The rest of the people are not on camera so they are only in the house but  not technically on the show.

Porshe - the dumbest plot of the year was to create four weeks of floaters.  Porshe would have been out a lot earlier if she wasn't safe.  I think she is kind of a strong competitor but people like her don't stick around long.  She is quite useless at this point.

Lawon - i still cant get over his one and only scene in the show where he told brenchel that he was in it to play hard, just like he has been doing.  NO. what he has been doing is wearing ugly pajamas (bright t's, grey sweatshirts, basketball shorts, plaid socks, and orange crocs (ugh) around ALL FRIGGIN DAY LONG DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AND NOT GETTING SENT HOME.  I'm DONE with him.

Kahlia - Not only is she as useless as Lawon, but she is even less likeable.  Lawon is at least a nice guy.  Kahlia has no positive traits other than she is under the radar.  so sad that the show would pick such a boring character for Big Brother.  So sad.

with that said, here is a mini recap of the show...

Rachel puts adam and dom on the block so the two talk strategy and decide to fight for the veto and then tell rachel that but actually dom asks rachel and brenden to be in the final four with him and Daniele and he will throw the competition to ensure that.  Daniele tells rachel and brenden to backdoor Jeff which makes Rachel and Brenden start to not trust Daniele.  Dom told Shelly that he wants her to save him so that Jeff and Jordan will eventually get out but Shelly loves Jeff and Jordan so she told Jordan and then Jordan lied and told Rachel that Dominic wanted to get all four of them out (unless it wasn't a lie and Dom did say that...which was not edited in the show, but might be true).  Brenden won the veto by spelling a long word and decided to keep the votes as is.  At this point it looks like Dom will go home for playing too many sides.

until tomorrow.
