Big Brother 13 - Episode 17

Before I begin updating on this episode, I want to make a quick public service announcement:

I feel BETRAYED!

I want to say this to all who reads this because of my unwaivering support to all that is Big Brother and America's Choice...I have watched the show religiously since Season One, including the really bad Winter Season...and not only have I watched the ups and downs of  the episodes, but have always considered myself on the hot button of what is popular with America...from the many prizes that Janelle won in her seasons to the ridiculous foods that are sent in to the have nots...I have always agreed with what America is thinking regarding this show...until now.

As many of you know and agree with me, the idea to  put veterans with newbies this season, definitely gave the newbies an unfair advantage and a direct target (and they didn't know each other prior to the show making it worse - the Vets had met at conventions and such)...it's like asking All Stars to compete with new dancers on Dancing With The Stars.  It is wrong and unfair...but Big Brother (never a ratings winner) constantly changes (expect the unexpected) while never actually changing anything.  So I'm always prepared for wacko twists...until now.

Last week, AMERICA voted BRENDON in.  BRENDON who AMERICA HATED last season.  BRENDON who is not considered GOOD or EVIL, but whiny, arrogant, and boring by most bloggers and fans of Big Brother.  DANIELE on the other hand was the JANELLE of her season.  She was liked along with her EVIL but loveable father  DICK who together played a strategic game.  DANIELE began a showmance with DOMINIC, a cutie patootie mama's boy who was accidently let go by the bully veteran group...who wouldn't want to root for the under dogs and fan favorite DANIELE to pull out all the stops and dramatically bring DOMINIC back, showing RACHEL and her "think their so hot" band of BULLIES that the game has FINALLY evened out?  But no...something went very wrong...maybe CBS rigged it to focus on the BRENCHEL camera time they have so dominated this season...or maybe AMERICA voted BRENDON in with the thought that he would have to fight off with RACHEL sending a huge EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER roller such as TV has never seen.  Two lovers fighting between love or a half a million dollars....that's the AMERICA that I know...

but maybe, just maybe, my THUMB on what AMERICA wants for BIG BROTHER is no longer on the PULSE...maybe AMERICA has turned it's back on DANIELE and love JEFF and JORDAN so much that  they are willing to bring BRENCHEL together to help them...or maybe, just maybe, (almost wanting to throw up) AMERICA'S hate for BRENCHEL is over and all that camera time has made them FAN FAVORITES instead of FAN ENEMIES...

either way, whether you want to say that this is just a way to make DRAMA between both CONTESTANTS and FANS OF THE SHOW...I will say this.  For this week, my stick is firmly drawn in the sand and DANI, KAHLIA, and PORSHE will be who I am currently rooting for (as long as they stick with DANI)...for once, I will go against AMERICA and vote for ME.  stretch out your hands and put up your swords...WHO'S WITH ME?????

and now for tonight's episode!  (yes, I'm bringing myself to watch it knowing I might have to fast forward certain bedroom scenes...I think you all know what I'm talking about...)

Brendon returned to the house making annoying grunting noises and standing on the table...wow America...you should be proud of yourself.

Kahlia and I shared a tear together regarding America's betrayal against Daniele.

Shelly, Adam, and Porshe finally stopped between floaters for one night and chose their sides.  Porsche went with Dani and Shelly and Adam chose the Vets (actually Shelly has always been with the vets but she is super sneaky and all in the house need to watch out for her, except for Jeff and  Jordan whom she genuinely loves)

and then it was time for the HOH.  and oh how the mighty have fallen...one by one, Rachel, Jordan, Brendon and Jeff were unable to accurately count things from different states (I would have been out round one with Rachel I'm sure)...then Shelly and Adam went out leaving Porsche and Dani and finally Daniele won (best case senario)...

I totally agreed with Porshe about olives not exactly being the food of Miami...nightlife doesn't mean martinis in 2011.

Daniele is actually not that good at counting but for some reason she always picked numbers that were almost the biggest difference...but almost doesn't send you out of the game.

My new favorite girls danced around the room and Rachel came to give them an odd hug and congrats...now I've made it VERY clear that I'm not happy about Brendon being back (because A. he is arrogant.  B. he is boring and C. he is whiny which adds up to what I consider BAD DRAMA..the kind of drama you don't actually want to watch on TV) but...I actually do enjoy watching Rachel at times...I hate her sexual behavior and her whinyness...but when she is not with Brendon she is far from boring..and I consider her GOOD DRAMA...I'm excited to see how she is going to try to stab Shelly in the back in order to get in good with Daniele this week...

Shelly interviews Jordan to help Jordan get a different job someday..then she asks her esoteric questions...what kind of job is she looking for????  I have never had an interview where someone uses big words to try to make me decide what I am and what I'm not...that was an odd moment..and that brings me to WHO IS JORDAN AND SHELLY???

What I know about Jordan - She is a receptionist (?) who might want to get a higher paying job someday.  I think she lives with her parents and she is in her early to mid 20s.  She won 500,000 a few years ago and also was probably paid pretty well for starring in a season of The Amazing Race and two seasons of Big Brother.  None of this is adding up...I don't know ANYONE with 500,000 in the bank...let alone lives at home in  low paying receptionist job...I say shenanigans are in place.

What I know about Shelly - she is woman who is extremely masculine/"butch" who is married to a man and has a little girl that's in elementary school.  She works for an outdoor program (might be nature tours, environmental teaching, or parks and rec stuff).  And in that job she gives esoteric interviews.  Things with Shelly are NOT ADDING UP!  I say shenanigans are in place.

Adam goes up to Daniele and basically says he will float anyway he can.  Shelly went up to do the same but was caught in one of her numerous lies and FINALLY her sneaky eviler than Evil Dick and Dr. Will put together is finally starting to crack.  Then Kahlia and Porshe whispered about her in front of her sending her reeling because she is a "honest" game player.  Shelly wouldn't know honest if it hit her in the face...Then she calls Rachel out for lying about her in the house while Big brother replayed scenes of Shelly lying...priceless...I'm glad to see Big Brother calling Shelly out but I will be honest...Shelly is playing an awesome game...the best...as long as she realizes her game is the dirtiest I've ever seen.

Rachel and Brendon come to Daniele with a truse which Daniele contemplates.

Daniele doesn't know what to do.  I wouldn't know what to do either...maybe put up Rachel and Shelly and watch them battle it out...although I'll say, for some reason, I no longer want Rachel to leave the show...having a week without Brendon made me respect her game for the first time ever...and bringing Brendon back angered me so much because it meant I had to hate Rachel again...

I'm not sure what Daniele's main plan is, but putting Shelly and Adam up seems an interesting choice...let's see how it all unfolds.

I will say, thankfully, with Brendon's return, the game did not shift...AMERICA...can we call a truse now too?
