I know I know, it's been awhile, and I won't say the show hasn't been exciting, but A. it's just not exciting enough to write a lot about and B. I never keep up the blog at the end...so my goal is to write about every episode...so far, SO GOOD
Episode 24
Pandora's box adds fuel to Jordan and Rachel's fire and Rachel works her butt off to slay the competition, win Veto, and take her and Jordan off the block. Porsche, as HOH, now has to put Adam and Shelly on the block, making Shelly nervous that her betrayal of Jeff will give Jordan a chance for payback.
Episode 25
Shelly goes balls out to stay in the game. First, by apologizing to Jordan for what she did, claiming she only has one alliance and that is her husband and daughter. I believe that she is genuinely sorry, however, her diary room confessions claim that most of her words are a move to be saved. Adam, as usual, sits back and floats around the room, hoping he is safe. Shelly uses a "tool" she came in with and offers Rachel her prized possession (a diamond family ring) as collateral to her devotion to stay in the game. Shelly confesses it was a FAKE ring and Rachel confesses that a ring offer is ridiculous. In the end, Shelly's bold move to get Jeff out of the house sends her home, with a 2 to 1 vote (Kahlia voted for Adam to go home). The episode ends with the houseguests in a donut factory of stickiness putting donuts on a long pole in a certain amount of time.
Episode 26
The donut game continues with Rachel slaying the competition YET AGAIN. I love the way Porsche announces stuff..she should work for the TV Guide channel or interview celebrities or something...could she be the first Big Brother contestant to make it in the entertainment world? Kahlia tells the diary room that she thought Jordan and Rachel were keeping Shelly and is worried that Adam will want revenge. Adam tells the diary room that he wants revenge on Kahlia.
When it's time to see Rachel's HOH room, Kahlia is still sleeping and the houseguests comment that she is ALWAYS sleeping. She does finally get up in order to see the Brenchel room (pictures covered with Rachel and Brenden) and both Kahlia and Jordan notice a picture from last summer's Big Brother where Brenden looks hotter than usual. Adam wonders why they are talking about a cute man when he's in the room with them... /:=
Kahlia tries to make a deal with Rachel because she really doesn't want to go home. In order to make it in the final three she will vote Porsche out.
Then Porsche goes to see Rachel. I felt bad for Rachel when she told Porsche that they used to be freinds until Porsche turned on her. Porsche didn't really comment on that, other than saying she will not put Rachel on the block if she gets the chance later in the game. However, in the diary room, Porsche says that it was a lie to stay in the house.
Mid way through the show, we learn that Rachel is a bad driver and Adam loves Tori Spelling / Donna Martin from 90210. Okay okay, we all know this but it's a foreshadow for Rachel's Pandora's Box option which shows Tori Spelling standing next to racks of clothes. At first Rachel doesn't want to do it but then she realizes that there has already been so many twists and turns in the game and decides to say yes. However, the backfire is on her as she is locked in the room with annual alumni Jesse (who is now a "celebrity" wrestler) - I really hate that they bring this guy back EVERY SINGLE YEAR! It's so irritating. The other houseguests get the shopping spree with Tori Spelling which sends Adam through the roof. Note - I hope when Tori watches the show back she will realize NEVER to wear a peach nightgown on her super pregnant body and red red lipstick and platinum hair does not go with peach..EVER!
I always knew that Tori would totally agree to come on the show, so I'm glad it finally happened. How did they know that Adam would stay to see it?
Also, one of the old traditions of Big Brother is a shopping spree...and THEY BROUGHT IT BACK. YAY!
Rachel puts up Kahlia and Porsche because A. They always want to get her out and B. Because they have been sleeping all summer and Rachel wants to play with competitors (okay okay Adam is the worst competitor in the house, however, he's easy to beat and on Rachel's side so it would be dumb to get rid of him).
on a closing, I do want to say that I liked Rachel this episode. They made her almost human and kind of funny. I've decided that with Shelly gone, she is now the best player and I can't believe I'm saying this...but I actually hope she wins. I know I know, a vet shouldn't win, but as crazy as she is, she isn't cocky like Jeff or Brenden so I think she deserves the win.
Did I just say I want Rachel to win??? Who's floating now... ?!?!?
